Question about Clinton's defense cuts and how they translate.....

Sorry, but I can't even type out a coherent question....the entire conversation in which this came up is one in which I had with a Freeper, which I'd like to forget....lol.

Those of you who have this info will know what I'm asking.

1. Clinton's Army was a winning effective force, the cold war cuts were by

Cheney under Bush41 as the cold war ended and the implementation of the Cheney plan continued under Clinton.

I grant you that a 20 year (projected by Bush folks in private) occupation requiring 500,000 troops but carried out by 135000 troops was not on Clinton's planning board - so I guess this is indeed Clinton's fault.

2. Consider this:

If Clinton "cut" the military by removing funding, George W. Bush "cut" the military by killing soldiers.

(And I'm not even conceding the point that Clinton really did anything that harmed the military.)
