"Respectfully, sir -- you know we're always respectful -- in your statement this morning with President Hu, you seemed a little off your game, you seemed to hurry through your statement. There was a lack of enthusiasm. Was something bothering you?" he asked.

"Have you ever heard of jet lag?" Bush responded. "Well, good. That answers your question."

The president then recited a list of things of that he viewed as positive developments from his Beijing meetings, including co-operation on North Korean nuclear disarmament and the ability to have "frank discussions" with his Chinese counterpart.

When the reporter asked for "a very quick follow-up", Bush cut him off by thanking the press corps and telling the reporter "No you may not," as he strode towards a set of double doors leading out of the room.

The only problem was that they were locked.

"I was trying to escape. Obviously, it didn't work," Bush quipped, facing reporters again until an aide rescued him by pointing to him towards the correct door.

13. I really love the photo sequence
...our little dictator struts to the door, puffed up with self-importance as always. You can see his massive ego taking a quick dive by the expression on his puffy, clownish face when the door doesn't open.

Then, as always, someone has to bail him out of his stupidity and ineptness. These photos really tell the story of the entire life of the little nut.

which is always lurking underneath the surface. He's never grown up. Can you even begin to imagine Clinton making that face in public?

All he needs in those photos is a white suit, a straw hat, and a cane, as he happy-hoofs his way back to the correct exit. Such an embarrassing dolt.

I was reading an account by a Lakota who worked in Hollywood who claimed that in the movies when the subtitles were saying "I say we trust our white brother!" the dialog was actually along the lines of "White man have little pecker and likes to take it up the butt..."

Thought maybe our biggest creditors were working something along those lines in...

44. Reuters: Locked doors thwart Bush's bid to duck question (!)
BEIJING (Reuters) - Irked by a reporter who told him he seemed to be "off his game" at a Beijing public appearance, President George W. Bush sought to make a hasty exit from a news conference but was thwarted by locked doors.

When the reporter asked for "a very quick follow-up," Bush cut him off by thanking the press corps and telling the reporter "No you may not," as he strode toward a set of double doors leading out of the room.

The only problem was that they were locked.

"I was trying to escape. Obviously, it didn't work," Bush quipped, facing reporters again until an aide rescued him by pointing to him toward the correct door.

46. Happens all the time to drunken coke whores...
From an excellent article about Hunter S. Thompson, from his memory about the crazy monkey:

THE DOCTOR WILL SEE YOU

Hunter S. Thompson says the Bush team no longer believes in democracy, and he would know

~ By STEVE APPLEFORD ~

EXCERPT...

“I haven’t told this story before,” Thompson says, and the room goes quiet. “I met George Bush in 1976, I guess, in Houston. And my first real memory of him, and only one, is of him passed out in my bathtub.” It was at the Hyatt Regency, where he also remembers dropping a naked blow-up doll down into the Atrium from his hotel balcony. “I knew people who were in the drug business from Houston, and I was there for a Super Bowl and I was looking for drugs. Of course.”

Could this be true? Had a young G.W. just been another party boy passing through Thompson’s gonzo orbit, or was this something like his conjecture during the ’72 primaries that candidate Ed Muskie’s bizarre behavior on the campaign could only be explained as a heavy addiction to the powerful, obscure drug Ibogaine? Except that columnist Ron Rosenbaum wrote about witnessing the same Bush-Thompson encounter in the New York Observer on March 27, 2000, though he says nothing of bathtubs and remembers the year as 1974, when Bush was a classmate of his.

Thompson talks of another Bush classmate, now a close associate of Thompson’s, who claims to have been personally branded by the future president during a fraternity hazing. “And it was torture,” Thompson says. “Twenty-four hours of sucking raw eggs and no sleep and people telling you they’re pissing on you and pouring streams of hot water on your back. And the final thing was the president branded the goddamn pledges with a hot poker. It was a scandal. It’s a matter of record in the Yale Daily News.”

Then he hands me the galleys to his Rolling Stone piece and asks me to read a long passage aloud, including a crude limerick young George Bush is said to have told over and over again for two years while at Yale:

“There was a young man named Green

Who invented a jack-off machine

On the twenty-third stroke

The damn thing broke

And churned his nuts into cream.”

I read it twice, and it gets a laugh every time.

CONTINUED...

The nutjob's still lost.

52. I think so too
Remember how Bush was at Yale. He didn't care at all about class or anything like that. He just went cause he could. Look at how Bush kept himself up physically back than. Very messy while Kerry was very classy. Bush started out as a low graded student but didn't ever challenge himself. Kerry started out that way but his grades got better as he went through college which is how people usually do.

Waving to the crowd on the way out.

71. What a great representative for our country! Guess his
keeper/handler had the day off, huh. They need to be playing 'bring in the clowns' for his entrance music.

77. You know the really bad thing about this.....
....if you look at the pics, he (apparently) walked out from between the two red panels (not through the doors he tried to exit).

He doesn't remember that (doesn't remember where he came from ~ or once he realizes that he can't get out through the doors ~ doesn't know how to exit).

If he can't figure out how to graciously exit from a speech, I'm doubtful that he has any skill to get out from a complicated exit like Iraq.

Let's help him as best we can to get out of Iraq ~ not for his undeserving sake, but for our own sake....that's what I think anyway.

He's teaching the whole country that presidents are idiots.

Bet no one had to draw lines for this man:

85. You're right.....no one had to draw any lines for this man.....
He was a true leader....and 'they' murdered him.

RIP Sweet John F. Kennedy....today is 42 years since we've lost you. You are sorely missed. What a different country/world this would probably be right now if you were still here!

86. It's like the Zapruder film, starring the kid from Deliverance.
I can almost hear the banjos. A frame-by-frame dissection of George H.W. and Barbara Bush's biggest mistake.
