Michael Scanlon's emails (re Abramoff criminal investigations)
Here's a glimpse into the Republican pledge to bring "honor and integrity" to Washington DC:

1.The day President Bill Clinton testified to the grand jury about Monica Lewinsky, Mr. Scanlon fired off an e-mail message to a colleague objecting to "this whole thing about not kicking someone when they're down. You kick him until he passes out," Mr. Scanlon wrote, "Then beat him over the head with a baseball bat, then roll him up in an old rug and throw him off a cliff into the pound surf below!!!!!"

2. "I want all their money!!!" Mr. Scanlon wrote in one e-mail message to Mr. Abramoff in 2002, referring to the Tigua Indian tribe.
In another, involving the Coushatta Indians, he wrote: "Weeez gonna be rich!!!"

Inspiring isn't it?

2. This One Goes Deep
With any luck an entire crowd of these nasties will be taken down.

<<<snip>>>

“Abramoff donated between $225,000 and $500,000 he collected from his tribal clients to Federici’s nonprofit group, the Council of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy (CREA).” Cont.

“Whatever she did for Abramoff, it had little or nothing to do with the activities or purview of CREA, which was founded by Gale Norton before she became interior secretary and anti-tax whack job Grover Norquist.”cont…

“Typical of the many requests Abramoff made to Federici was an e-mail dated Dec. 2, 2002, in which he sought Griles’s help in scuttling a casino plan by the Jena Band of Choctaw, a Louisiana tribe seen as competition by his clients: “It seems the Jena are on the march again. if you can, can you make sure Steve squelches this again? thanks!!” cont

“Finally, another sign that everybody will soon know Italia Federici’s name, she interconnects with another GOP scandal - one that the Republican Congressional leadership passed on. She wrote at least one op-ed piece for GOPUSA, the propaganda “news” site that “employed” the Republican prostitute/reporter, Jeff Gannon.
Topic: Conservative Values, Politics."

It's all linked together, all of it. And you Tom Delay must have had some pull in awarding this contract.
