One of the last Repuke speakers last night said that our troops
demand loyalty from us

I say they demand HONESTY from us first

And they haven't gotten it in this war from this government/administration and all the negative stuff happening (which is nearly everything )STEMS FROM THAT

Soldiers deserve HONESTY first - LOYALTY flows from Honesty

1. The Repukes have made their position perfectly clear
to them, the troops aren't even real people.

They are just an idea, a rallying point, that Republicans invoke to attack their political opponents.

Just pawns.

2. The troops aren't stupid
despite what the republiCons seem to think. If a few more of them had actually served they would be aware of this fact.

3. They deserve accountability from their govt
that sends them to war.

Who didn't ensure that there was adequate equipment... should be fired.

Who was in charge of the post invasion planning... should be fired (or courtmarshalled for dereliction of duty)

And so on. These men and women are serving at the will of a govt that doesn't demand any accountability for itself where the lives of these men and women serving are concerned.

4. How much more loyal can we be? We are trying to save
their lives. How can that be wrong, no matter how it's spun? I think the neocons "doth protest too much". The really marvelous thing about it is that they (the republicans) are ruining themselves.
