2. That would be wonderful.
If he's rated lower than Nixon, eventually his slime will rub off on all the other Repug cretins. The sheeple may be awakening from their long slumber.

4. I invite you to provide any data you please.
I was pasting and linking clearly labeled results from Harris. Take them for what they are.

6. Thanks.
Interesting how they diverge, in Nixon's case as one example, from the Harris numbers.

But all the poll mongers around these parts can doubtless point to differing questions, methodologies, etc.

Best to you.

7. I agree about the divergence but
you can at least get the general trend. While many presidents have had points of low approval, very few have had the serious decline (around 90% to the 30s) that Bush has had. Another interesting is that most presidents had their peak numbers after wars.

I asked a freeper friend a hypothetical question after she was blathering on about how much Bush acts "from the gut" to do what he thinks is right (this was before Nov 04). I asked her "if every President that ever started a war in his first term was voted out of office, do you think Bush would still have decided to go to Iraq?" Of course, even she had to say no.

It is too bad war tends to be pretty popular.
