Movie: "Good Night and Good Luck" eerily similar to recent events.

Throughout the Movie MCarthy's tactics were exposed for the fraud they were. Edward R. Murrow repeatedly exposed the lies of Mcarthy and his favorite tactic of labeling anybody critical of him a supporter of the "enemy". First Murrow invited McCarthy defend himself on the show. Then, point by point showed how baseless McCarthy's accusations were. Murrow never let up and kicked that fascist bastards ass! Great movie.

It sounds alot like the Repigs attack on the dems today critical of the war in Iraq as terrorist sympathizers, appeasers, etc. Just google "terrorist sympathizer" as somebody did the other day for a topic here.

The Public is not falling for the Repugs tricks. :bounce:

The last bit with Eisenhower talking about habeus corpus.....
