Bill Clinton's Legacy
One winner of Bush's incompetence, lies, and radical ideology is Clinton's legacy. Comparatively, Clinton's peccadilloes will pale next to the foul-ups of Bush in the eyes of history.

1. You're right about that
I'm wondering how many people who voted for the "moral Christian" president Bush are looking at his warlike policies, his assault on social programs, and are wondering if maybe they were duped.

6. Considering the fact that his approval ratings are tanking, I'm
pretty sure that some of them must be feeling that way right about now.

3. The errors in his private life will be diminished when the acts of his
hypocrite accuses continue to come to light. Can you imaging Newt throwing a stone at anybody? I want him to run in '08.

4. Bill Clinton will shine many years from now
Even after the disaster that is the Bush admin fades, Clinton will be looked at as a man who truly cared for people and tried to do the right thing.

5. unfortunately, as much as I like Clinton, part of his legacy
is sitting in the White House.

Without the damn Monica-thing, Al Gore probably would have been elected in 2000. People were happy for the most part with the direction of the country, which usually means good news for incumbents.

Without the baggage (admittedly blown way out of proportion by the whacko right), Gore wins, and we're spared 8 years of evil.

...makes my head hurt to think about it.

8. Gore was his own worse enemy in 2000
Remeber what his first decision was after he got the nomination? He choose that great Democrat, ole Joementum, himself.

9. Unfortunately, Gore did win
Gore did win in 2000, but this administration has made sure that the MSM will never report that.
Just like Kerry won in 2004.
Lets just hope that they do not have the capacity to steal every election in 2006.
Once we get congress back we'll impeach this evil SOB!

10. good point-
but again, without the Monica-thing, Gore probably wins by enough that they can't steal it...

7. The Clinton years may well end up being considered America's peak...
...will we ever enjoy another run of peace and prosperity like that in our lifetimes? With a downward slide due to increasing dependence on foreign oil (as the whole world reaches peak oil) and crushing debt bearing down on us, it seems America will never have times as good as Clinton's again.

11. I agree
Everyone was getting rich under Clinton's term.
The Republicans would NOT have any of that!
ONLY Republicans deserve to make money(sic).
