Rumsfeld to Congress: Fuck Off!
Rumsfeld rejects growing withdrawal calls
By James Grubel
Fri Nov 18, 1:26 AM ET

ADELAIDE, Australia (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld dismissed on Friday growing calls for the United States to start withdrawing forces from Iraq, saying Iraq was several years behind Afghanistan as a secure country.

Rumsfeld said as Iraqi forces took more control of their own security, it would enable U.S. forces to be diverted to other assignments within Iraq.

"What you'll see over the period ahead is that the Iraqi security forces will be handed over responsibility for pieces of real estate, for certain types of missions and assignments," Rumsfeld told reporters after talks with Australian ministers.

"As that happens, the people who were engaged in those activities, they will in many cases assume other assignments and responsibilities, in many cases assisting help to train some additional Irai security forces," said Rumsfeld.

1. What Iraqi security forces?
You mean the 25 guys you rounded up at gun point, dressed up in pretty uniforms and snapped a few 'PR' photos of? Yeah, uh, sure.

Americans to *Misadministration: FUCK YOU, TOO! Our boys are coming home!

5. Yep. All 700 of them:
BAGHDAD, Nov. 15, 2005 — The U.S. military said today that more than 112,000 Iraqi police and nearly 100,000 Iraqi troops have been trained and equipped so far. While the numbers seem impressive, the greater concern is whether those Iraqi forces are capable of effectively securing their country.

Today's report from the Pentagon says only one battalion — about 700 Iraqi troops — has reached level one, meaning the soldiers can operate independently.

7. And so the circle is complete
"Vietnamization" of Viet Nam....to the "Iraqization" of Iraq.

The utterly debauched concept that desperately unemployed citizens of a country which you invaded, who joined the military of the puppets running the invaded country's government will fight to protect the puppets installed by the occupying forces.

It is utter drivel and tripe and not even worthy of discussion. It is ludicrous on its face.

8. I believe that even Rummy will get the memo that the paradigm has changed.
The issue now is the illegality of the US invasion of Iraq and the lies told by the PNAC Cabal to initiate that invasion. "Iraqi forces taking over security" is no longer an operative option.
