Richard Clarke just gave the best evaluation of the Administration
on the Daily Show.
Explained how Bush and Cheney are surrounded by yes-men. How in previous administrations the President actually had meetings with both sides and listened to both sides of the debate.
He said that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction back in 91 when the US Army was "driving up his highway" and didn't use them.
Spectacular in how he plainly said how Congress is presented with the nifty bound conclusions of the intelligence and didn't see the aluminum tubes info which he said was confirmedly written by a "drunk", and the forged Niger memo which he joked "was written in crayon"; was that obviously not real.
Make sure you see this if it's repeated and you missed.
the only thing Clarke forgot to add was the way these guys surround themselves with 'yes' men. Why else would Bush surround himself with people who are so loyal to him?
In fact, I remember about the beginning of this administration they even cleaned house at the CIA........to remove people who were not willing to pledge loyalty to Lord Bush.
