"Michael Moore" really? Is that all this Administration has to say
Edited on Thu Nov-17-05 11:56 PM by texpatriot2004
for real? How dim-witted, how dull, how dense...these evil people are ridiculous and if it weren't so damned infuriating and downright scary, they would be a friggin' joke, a laughing stock except that it's NO LAUGHING matter.

How many years ago was it that the Anti-Michael rubbish routine was working for them? Times have changed. This is a brand new day. That routine isn't going to work at this juncture IMHO.

Unbelievable, that this is where they are going when faced with their lies.

Do you think that they have noticed it's not working? Just like the "unpatriotic, anti-American" thing isn't working either.

2. It is how dull they think their own followers are. Are they not insulted?
Just loop this man in with the Ms in the neocon enemy list and presto - all their supporters are innoculated.

3. Not only that, but everything MM said was true...
They are trying to use him as a modern day Hanoi Jane. Extremely childish, very Republican.

6. Jeebus. Is that all they've got? Big scary boogeyman Michael Moore.
Just trot out Michael Moore and/or Hillary Clinton to fire up the freeper lunatic fringe. Problem is, the freeper lunatic fringe are the ONLY people who freak out any more when they mention Michael Moore. Everybody else has figured out they're full of reeking, festering poo.

8. If they really want to talk about Moore that's OK.
He got booed off stage at Oscars when he said "fictional war" because that was the climate of the time. No discussion and no dissent.

As it turns out he was absolutely right.

16. It's inappropriate for the Bush Admin. to insult Moore as well, you know.
Edited on Fri Nov-18-05 12:48 AM by Marr
He's not a public official, and Bush is *supposed* to be everyone's president- not just the dumb-ass brainwashed freepers. Bush and his team are *supposed* to be public servants and using their position to attack private citizens is more than inapproprate- it's disrespectful to the office and the country.

They should apologize for the insult to Michael Moore first, and then to Murtha.

22. They're desperate, and playing to their base, or what's left of it.
They're playing to the RW fundies, the Limpballs dittoheads, and the Freepers. Amongst that group of fools, Moore's name is synonymous with the devil's.

But it shows weakness on the administration's part that they feel that is the only group they can play to anymore. The moderate Republicans and NASCAR dads are abandoning them in droves as the war in Iraq grinds on, and the war at home against the middle class and poor starts taking hold.

With the falling poll numbers Bush feels he has to retain a hold onto at least his base of crazy fools, thus he decides that the best way is to start babbling like Limpballs and the Savage Weiner.

How fucking pathetic.
