It seems to me that the Fed. gov't ought to have its own DNA testing
lab instead of relying on private labs. Since DNA testing is has become a reliable source for ID, I can't believe that the Feds wouldn't have a lab facility for national security purposes used by intel agencies that could be used in emergencies such as Katrina to ID bodies. Then no bureaucratic contracts and paperwork would have to be completed to get the process moving.

2. Bad idea for the feds to have our DNA
Depending on what neocon is around, they might identify all of us with a particular profile and exterminate us in the name of eugenics....Nope--I wouldn't go for it, even though there are some beneficial aspects.
