If I had "hairy back" talked like a "Soprano" and belched after meals and
could get "ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS" cushy jobs where they made Millions off of my buddies getting me "Lobbying Jobs" ....WOULD YOU GUY'S LOVE ME?

If I had "long Sraight Hair...Lots of MakeUp...and looked like a Female from "Night of the Dead" or "Dracula's females risin from Dead" and was a CNN/MSNBC/CNN HEADLINE NEWS ANCHOR...Would you BELIEVE ME?

WOULD YOU ALL BELIEVE ME? If my "IMAGE" was cloned to be looking like...VAMPIRES?

 (This is a serious post...as silly as it might sound...WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE CHIRPING HEADLINES TO US...on the Cable News Breaks and News Shows?"

They are very Scary folks to me...but maybe I'm sort of "visually sensitive."

1. In our family we call them news sluts.
And the Weather Channel now has weather sluts, too.

2. No...I 100% agree...as a 46 yr old straight male...
the current idea of attractive is sometimes hideous...it sometimes reminds me of that scene from "Devils Advocate" with Kenau Reeves where the "beautiful" women start looking like hideous monsters.

3. We who think this are "marginalized." It's a "Media Problem" no one
seems to want to discuss. It's out there...we all see it..but so many are afraid to address it thinking as Democrats we would sound "Anti-Diversity."

One day folks will wake up and understand that "Cloning News" is bad...and Cloning it in "Image Form" really obscures the message. Until then...I'm just some damned lone voice out here in the wildnerness...trying to point it out.

Go Away...folks say. It's just ENTERTAINMENT...and it's Pretty and it's MACHO.... and it appeals to our viewers ..

4. They Are News Readers, with Mics in Their Ears Telling Them What to Say
(That is, if I know what this thread is about, which I might not.)

Check out the news READERS on the Spanish networks-- Univision, et al. They never abandoned their own selfhood, femininity. One of them, in the afternoon, is middle-aged-ish or above, is so VERY feminine that her trademark is a tall vase with a single rose, while she reads the news. In the 3 o'clock hour, the females are BODACIOUS in their entire presentation and the camera work is aimed right through the see-through table, past the portals of their LONG legs, if you know what I mean. Drew CAREY had a joke, that he watches Univision with the Mute on, and makes up dialog that he pretends those gals are saying to him.

Actually, the same premise works in a different angle. After 9-11 there was a debate about whether U.S. journalists should wear flag lapel pins or whether the U.S. flag should be on the set or the screen somewhere. It was a given most of the time to see the Mexican flag on their news desks.

O.K., please tell me what the topic was. Thanks.
