Has AOL blocked mediawhoresonline.com through it's internet

16. That's almost certainly a message from the Horse's server, not AOL. (NT)

8. Wonder if AOL is doing payback
Mediawhores still have the 'embarassing' AOL 'welcome' page up on their site...

AOL Welcome screen (7/14), viewed by millions!!

Maybe that is it...

9. NO
At least not for me. I don't use the AOL browser (IE 6.0). It worked fine in IE. The first time I tried it in AOL I got the same error. When I ran it again adding the www. it then came up. Give that a try. I recall reading sometimes that your service provider has to set the permissions to allow you to get into sites without the www. Or, perhaps the site admin tech has to set their permissions... Anyway, somewhere someone made a change.

As evial as AOL is I don't think they blocked it this time. Just wait.

You don't have permission to access /main.htm on this server. I can get it on netscape..very strange.

12. odd
maybe there is a problem in the AOL route for you. Mine, for once, seem to be pretty smooth. And, far be it from me to defend AOL - they suck, uh, well, a lot (I've made a personal vow to clean up my language on DU), but they are the only show in town in this part of the sticks. Stop using the AOL browser would be my reaction - its crap anyway.

14. Sounds more like MWO having a problem...
Its actually quite common for pages to work on Netscape, and not work on IE (and vice-versa), and the reason for it is ALWAYS due to the HTML that the web server is serving up (i.e. MWO in this case). "Permissions" are also very much a part of web server administration "lingo".

Doesn't sound like the problem is AOL to me. If it were, you wouldn't get to the site at all, no matter what browser you are using ...
