1. I hate to have to say it
but I actually am better off than 4 years ago. I got a better job, I have received two raises, my wife got a better job, I refinanced my house at 5.25% vs. 8.5% and dropped 12 years off the mortgage. My oldest daughter got a job, and my son graduated from college.

Think how good it could have been!!!

5. This says it all: Tommy Chong is in jail and Kenny Boy is on the golf cour
se. Lost a shitload of money in stock market. Many friends are losing or have lost jobs. Kids are dying at the rate of 1 or 2 per day in Iraq. Most people in the world who don't know me hate me because I'm an arrogant american as represented by bu$h. The entire middle east is a powder keg.

4. My wife and I both lost career jobs in the last 1 1/2 years...
..fortunately we were already building a freelance contract company and we're almost doing as well now... but not quite.

We were soo excited because the business endeavor was going to be part-time and we were going to double our income.... until the Bush economy snapped us back to reality.
