Conrad Burns (R-MT) LYING his face off (C-Span2 10:35 Eastern)

I don't now how many time I can listen to these goosestepping repukes repeat the same LIES over and over.

Iraq = "cradle of terrorism"
Iraq = "source of funding"

then he describes a conversation with a 10yo Iraqi boy. (are the children really bilingual in English there?)

foul lies to divert US funds into corporate hands. the repukes only fight like this when they're protecting business.

1. Repetition is a critical part of brainwashing.
Dr. Phil tells his guests to watch the tape of their appearance 100 times so they get it and what he said is engrained. (He used to be a highly successful jury consultant for corporations and knows exactly how to get people to think a certain way.)

2. I wonder if he called the 10yo boy a "raghead"
Burns is, unfortunately, a senator from my state. He should never speak publicly about foreign policy. If he's the best defense they've got...

3. Didn't The Good Senator...
Have a translator supplied by the U.S. Military? Probably the same desk jockey who wrote all those form letters.

The reason we can't see all the good things going on in Iraq is Halliburton would never open their books.

4. There has been
quite a bit of Republicans on CSpann lately. Perhaps Bush has pulled a monopoly of it also.

5. this was on the FLOOR OF THE SENATE....

not a talking heads moment. the congressional record. they are utterly shameless because they know they'll never be called on it.

the Dems state fact after fact and then a repuke 'turd with a tie' stands up and LIES (using the SAME talking points as every other repuke)

:grr:
