Oh, breathless heart be still... MSM has finally said it!
Edited on Mon Nov-14-05 06:11 PM by Flubadubya
Bill Schneider just announced on CNN that according to polls the American people now trust George W. Bush LESS than they trusted Bill Clinton. :woohoo:

Oh, for how many years to hear those sweet words! :bounce: :woohoo:

20. Yeah, that's great, Bill!
NOW do you think you could get around the mentioning the theft of the 2000 and 2004 elections, the 'irregularities' just experienced in Ohio -- yet again? How about a little bit of coverage of the GAO report re electronic voting machines? Maybe you could even do a montage (ya gotta have a montage according to Team America) of the glaring inconsistencies in what Bush, Cheney, et al said about intelligence leading up to the war in Iraq? Maybe even a montage of Bush footage showing him expounding on the two hundred DIFFERENT reasons we're in Iraq now?

Just a few 'serving suggestions' for that buffet of crap CNN puts on the table every day ...

It took you a while, but you're finally there. You finally understand that a GOOD SMART president who has one personal failing in an area of his life that DOESN'T AFFECT YOU is far better than a HORRIBLE IDIOTIC president whose multiple personal failings DO PERSONALLY AFFECT YOU.

24. Maybe GWB will do what LBJ did and resign, EARLY !
When your credibility is shot and no one can trust what you say, what on earth do you do with a President like THAT ?

It's like Nixon's "I am not a crook" statement. Everyone knew he was lying, his mouth was open. Governing in the best interests of this country and supporting the Constitution are an afterthought to the Bush crew. It's time for them to go. Impeachment on charges of abuse of intelligence agencies is the obvious first charge. Other charges flow from the criminal acts flowing from that.

The US population's BS detectors are set to 'high' right now. No Operation Mockingbird or military PsyOps can keep the truth from us now.

32. My note to CNN:
<<Wow. Thank God someone has finally said what we all know: that bush is less popular than Clinton.

Saying over and over that a person or thing is good (or bad, or Most Trusted) don't make it so.

Now if you will start to more accurately report on WHY he's so unpopular, rather than read the pre-aproved scripts , well then you might just get to where you actually deserve that "Most Trusted" tagline.>>

56. They're mainstream in that
they're the media where by far most people get by far most of their information about what going on in the world - thus these media do 'manufacture' mainstream public opinion.

It so happens these media are owned by corporations, and of course that's relevant but it could be practically the same if those media would be state-owned (think Pravda).
