Just a funny thought: If Hillary ran and won in '08...
(and I'm not advocating her, but if she did)...
The Democratic Governor (Atty Gen. Eliot Spitzer will win in '06) would have to select a replacement in the Senate for her--I wonder if he would pick Bill Clinton(!) wouldn't that be interesting.
since he lives in the house that he and Hillary bought. But NY Senate races are full of carpetbaggers--Robert F. Kennedy, James Buckley (from CT), and of course, Hillary.
6. I think he would make a GREAT FIRST GENTLEMAN, He would not feel
like less of a man. He really loves to meet people and talk to them, and he could redefine the role so that future First Ladies and First Gentlemen would not be restricted to a small pidgeon hole. Much like Jimmy Carter has done for past presidents.
Point taken--what would be funny as hell is if HILLARY put him in charge
of a UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PANEL!!!!!!!!
Remember how they ripped her a new one for trying to get health care for all? I have a funny feeling he could just charm that issue so that people lined the streets DEMANDING that it happen, NOW!

In any campaign, she would either have to embrace the idea of co-presidency, or make a very strong argument that will only be somewhat believed that he will not be in the Whitehouse. Maybe a permanent vacation to Aruba or something.
