The silence is deafening from the Republicans today....
I don't see a lot of them running out to defend or to expound on Bush's speech from yesterday? What are they afraid of? Come on Repubs! Get off the fence! Get out there and defend your president. Repeat his talking points. What are you waiting for? :)

4. Probably brushing up on their lockstep talking points for all the
Sunday morning shows. Takes time to cram for these things, y'know.

5. Maybe they know full well that most of what Bush said was a repeat of the
same lies told many times.

7. It's 3 photos and a huge front-page article
Edited on Sat Nov-12-05 09:21 AM by WinkyDink
in the Allentown Morning-Call.
Normally, that space is reserved for Terrell Owens and the Eagles.
I kid you not.
(Same paper headlined Hegel's opposition to torture, NOT Cheney's BEGGING for its allowance!)

12. You mean the speech in which he politicized Veteran's Day

and insulted the veterans he has systematically been robbing benefits from?

You mean the speech where he exploited the occasion to claim anyone who doesn't support him and his illegal war is unAmurkin?

You mean the speech where he accused others of rewriting history when he has been doing that from before the first day he stole took office?

You mean the speech where he was typically low-class using the event to sling mud at the Dems?

You mean the speech that was a desperate effort to stop his popularity ratings from going further into the toilet?

Oh. That one.

17. How do the bush bots still manage to support this disgusting sorry
excuse for a human being? One tenth of what he has done, would get a Democratic President not only impeached but removed from office as well. I don't get it. :banghead: Also, remember what a stink the repugnants made over the Wellstone Memorial, how they accused Dems of politicizing it? Guess yesterday's stunt was different. It always is with repugnants, isn't it?

13. I'd like to congratulate CNN
That Bush poll is on their international site. You know what pressing issue they chose for the poll on their USA site? Here it is:

How do you think gas prices will affect a comeback for muscles cars?
Red light 76% 20579 votes
Green light 24% 6371 votes
Total: 26950 votes

Thanks, CNN, for keeping an eye on what's really important to Americans.

with 1500 votes cast (mine included). Dubya, we have a majority that says you're full of shit.

14. Yukyukyuk...
Any Republican who doesn't defend our great Leader in his hour of need is an un-American Terrist!

Re-election is NOTHING compared to adulation for der Fuhrer. Come on, what's wrong, don't you WANT to ruin your chances in '06? Go suck a lemon, those who aren't "catapulting the propaganda". Your Shrub NEEDS you right now!

18. The poll is still overwhelmingly anti-Boosh.

Although it appears there was a feeble attempt at freeping it. They will never turn it around with so many votes cast.
