Based on your feedback, I made a few more changes to the icons.

Based on response, it was clear that we needed to make a few changes to the new icons. Somehow "cartoony" and "Fisher-Price" wasn't quite what we were going for. :D

The the four icons on each person's posts weren't intuitive enough. And they were too bright. And too big. All of which is problematic since they're the icons you see over and over again on every post. So, I've changed them.

I think these are better. They're a little smaller, they're more intuitive, and they're not quite so bright.

Without realizing I was going to do that. I only did it to see what the icons were. How about a thumbs up icon for your buddy list, and a thumbs down for your ignore list. Either that, or an extended middle finger for your ignore list.

I agree that the Ignore/Buddy selection is a bit difficult to discern. Perhaps a different icon for ignore, like GWB's Head!

Seriously though, perhaps a change to make the plus and minus a bit more pronouced, but not cartoony. That might help, enlarge them by, say 25% and that might just work!

6. Hey Skinner

I liked the other icons but, they were too big. Can't you just make the icons smaller without having to add the shadow? That is what makes it too "busy" IMHO....just asking :shrug:

makes it easier to see them. I also have another suggestion regarding the smilie icons. Would it be possible to have them open in a horizontal window so we don't have to scroll down?
