The Thugs say we can't leave Iraq until
we win...Can someone tell me what that means....What is WINNING? We can't leave until we have a DEMOCRACY? Well, in that case we might as well start the draft because this won't happen for a century.

5. remember Viet Nam
I forgot who, but one of the anti-war Senators was fond of saying that we should "just declare victory and come home."

6. I'm still waiting for someone to define what "winning" means, as well as
the "course"? as in "stayng the course"
the "job" as in "finish the job"
"what we started" as in "finish what we started"

It was all lies....how do you finish a lie? how do you stay the course of a lie? we started a lie...so we finish the lie?

In other words, we continue the lie...until what conclusion? is the lie suddenly going to stop being a lie if we just stay in Iraq?

10. The end will never justify the means........
This was based on lies and no one can make this right. Bushit's legacy is based on the success in Iraq

quote.......
The war on terrorism began Sept. 11, 2001, said Bush nearly half a dozen times during the speech. America is in danger, and we must fight the enemy in Iraq or we’ll be fighting him in Indiana
end quote......

13. "This was based on lies and no one can make this right"
True.

All we can do is try them as war criminals....and even that won't make the Iraq invasion right....but it would be justice.

16. Me too,serryjw
I've got nothihng nice to say about Saddam but I can not embrace the hypocrisy and crimes of the Bush Regime...no matter what kind of man Saddam is..

My husband served in Iraq and people who despised the Americans being in their country had nothing nice to say about Saddam...they felt they were getting rid of one tyrant only to be saddled with another tyrant.....and more so in many ways. Farmers that lived away from Baghdad could avoid Saddam and his Republican Guard for the most part....but they couldn't get away from the Americans.

7. Remember * telling Matt Lauer "I don't believe you can win the
war on terror"?

So we leave when we win what we can't win. And don't forget it.

15. Winning is having a puppet government entrenched,
We want a police force to rule over the Iraqis that is loyal to the US, that will allow the permanent military bases and allow the plunder of the oil reserves by US interest. I think they already sold two oil fields for $25 billion, not that the Iraqis will benefit from the money or were intentioned to benefit from the money. The sale is illegal anyway, and we need a government that will not dare challenge that sale or the ones to come.

All of this will be in court for the next 50 years. Remember a US court awarding a billion dollars to about 9 Americans because of being detained by Saddam. Then we invade and the USG wants that money and sets aside the judgement somehow.
