Nader thrusts himself into T.O. drama
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10003290/
---
Could the Terrell Owens situation be heading to a courtroom as a free-speech case?

That seems unlikely, but consumer advocate Ralph Nader is now involved in the fued between Owens and the Eagles.

Nader wants the Eagles and the NFL to drop the Owens suspension, which he says "dishonors this country's traditional respect for free speech."

WTF???????????

2. Nader dishonors himself
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 03:38 PM by Tinman
By defending this petulant crybaby. Sure he's entitled to free speech, just as Andy Reid was entitled to keep T.O.'s sorry ass out of the lineup for the rest of the season. T.O. is a cancer, pure and simple. And BTW, isn't there anything more important for the likes of Nader to rail against?

4. Since when is punching a former teammate "free speech"?
T.O. also said that he didn't want to play as hard for the team. Nader should really shut up when he has no idea what he is talking about.

5. heres my take
fUCK T.O. how about that for free speech. Lookit, I can talk to because my team (the raiders) went out and got randy moss, but then again we have an Owner and former Players that let him now that if he caused a problem he was kaput. Jeff Lurie is a media whore himself so what does he know. AND on top of that where does TO get off criticizing McNabb? Im no Eagles fan, but good lord FOur straight Championship game appearances. T.O. should go to broadcasting he is much better suited for that.

6. Trade him to the Steelers today
Maybe he can disrupt them enough by Sunday, and the Browns can beat them!

9. What planet is Ralph Nader on?
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 04:05 PM by tasteblind
What the hell does this have to do with anything?

Gas prices, poor people starving to death on CNN in disaster zones, a war without end, a senior level White House indictment, and this is the shit that Ralph is on about?

WTF?

And that "fued" typo has been there since 10:30.

10. I agree, what the fuck?
I am as big a defender of Nader as there is on this board even though I didn't vote for him. But this is a stupid move on his part. TO was indeed exercising his free speech rights, and the Eagles were exercising their contractual rights.

And quite frankly I don't think that there are as many football fans out there who really want to see TO play as Nader seems to think. Quite frankly, even amongst Eagles fans, I haven't run across any fans who really want TO to stick around. The vast majority just want him to shut up and go away.
