Bush denies sexing up Iraq brief

US President George W. Bush hit back Friday at "baseless" charges that he twisted intelligence on Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction to justify the war to oust Saddam Hussein.

"These baseless attacks send the wrong signal to our troops and to an enemy that is questioning America's will," Bush said in a speech to former and active military personnel here as the United States marked the Veterans Day holiday.
