1. Here's a link to BBC article on speech at the Tobyhanna Army Depot:
Bush set to defend war decision

Bush's allies say the Democrats believed in Iraqi WMD too
US President George W Bush is expected to hit back at criticism of his grounds for invading Iraq, in a speech to mark Veterans' Day later on Friday.
White House sources suggest he will use the speech in Pennsylvania to deny that intelligence about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction was misused.

One official said that US Democrats had also believed in the weapons' existence before the war.

He is due to appear at the Tobyhanna Army Depot to speak about the ongoing "War on Terror" and pay tribute to US veterans, a few weeks after the US death toll there passed the 2,000 mark.

"The president is going to directly take on the false attacks that Democratic leaders have been making," an unnamed senior administration official told Reuters news agency

4. I have no problem with him addressing the troops.
My issue is that he is going to use this as a podium to bash Dems. This is not the time, place, or forum for a political speech. It is time for a Rah Rah, we love our Veterans speech. Of course, it is hard to get up with straight face and RAH RAH the troops when you are cutting their VA budget and sending them to war under prepared, and with not enough equipment!

2. In all fairness
the lying duty-shirking chickenhawk demented asshole occupying the white house through fraud does get to address the troops on armistice day, aka veteran's day, it is traditional.

Heck Clinton got to address the troops even after he had consensual sex with an adult woman not his wife, so the standards were already pretty low.
:sarcasm:

3. Why is the Bush bastard RANTING AGAIN about Syria and Iran?
'Um, hey asshole it's VETERAN'S DAY...it's NOT War on Fucking Terror Let's Have a Rant About My Twin Obsessions of Syria and Iran Because I Need My Next Killing Fix Day.

I HATE this fuckface and have now switched him OFF.

He's supposed to talk about WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War 1 NOT fucking September 11th, Terrorists, Saddam, Syria, Iran and his USUAL broken record BULLSHIT.

Sorry, I JUST needed to have my own little rant there...I'd better go and check my blood pressure now.

6. Not one but TWO blacks on Bush's right.
Usually there's just one at every Bush speech and always to the right of Bush. Neither one looks too enthusiastic about being that close to the shrub. Look quickly - the four "handpicked whites" are staring right at shrub as he speaks, but the 2 blacks are looking down or off in the distance.

12. I think Santorum was supposed to be there, but backed out. "Argo?" did I
just here him say 'argo' when he meant 'ergo'? Not a term of common usage for him.
