Irony Alert - FDA puts warning out on Birth Control Patch
There are drugs being sold right now, we've all seen the commercials...

"the side effects for this weight loss drug may include nausea, vomiting, lymphoma, heart failure, and in some cases people have experienced a little thing called DEATH."

And yet, they feel the need to warn us about the Patch.

1. Erectile dysfunction
ads have all sorts of side affect warnings.

It's the right wing extremist thing to do right now to go after women and their birth control rights. The irony between the male dysfunctional drugs and women's birth control is unbelieveable.

8. It's both.
A rare side effect but mentioned in the ads as a selling point. There are those who call this clever marketing.

3. What Is Your Problem With This? Patch Works Differently Then Pill
uses more hormones. There are risks. Consumers deserve more info not less.

Clue me in?

4. That's just it
These deadly drugs (with lethal side effects) are being marketed yet the FDA is trying as hard as it can to cast birth control in a bad light.

Why isn't the FDA going after these weight loss drugs and these cholesterol lowering drugs in the same manner they are with the patch?

9. Not anti-birth control and FDA did remove drugs
Fen-fen drugs for weight loss were removed as was Baycol for cholesterol lowering. The Ortho Evra warnings are based on reports of deaths due to strokes higher than expected from taking these types of drugs. There was no political angle at all.

5. Is it really so hard to remember to take a pill ONCE a day? sheesh.
People remember to brush their teeth everyday - how much harder is it to remember to take a pill at the same time? The newer forms of BC are more convenient, but not as safe.
