he professed his love for Reagan, but after learning much more about THE man, it made sense to me.

15. You mean the fact that he's a contrarian?

Personally I never could understand it unless I believed that he either:

(1) didn't follow politics all that much and so didn't sense/smell what Reagan was, OR

(2) is a huge asshole (in his own UNIQUE way, of course) and part of that is being contrarian.

I'll go with door #2, as he MUST have known about Reagan's fascist streak as governor of CA.

Saw him in concert only once. He was great.
