I gotta say, I was cracking up at some of their responses.

Let's face it, the guy spends like a Kennedy at a hooker convention.

Unfortunately one of the government checks on this sort of behavior, the GOP "controlled" congress, is letting him.

A Clinton cigar has seen more action than Bush's veto pen.

Last time I checked the Constitution, Congress holds the purse strings, not the Prez.

And the last time I checked the Constitution, the President could veto bills sent to him by Congress.

I guess President Bush must have skipped over that portion.

2. Well, at least the ones you quoted aren't bothering with apologetics
If they can figure out that bush and the GOP have LET THEM THE FUCK DOWN, maybe they won't bother to vote next time.

as long as it's repugnicans doing the destruction.
Always interesting to get the Freepers's comical reactions.

The Federal government has incurred more foreign debt in the last 5 years (under the Bushtards) than in its entire history up to then.

It's not just a matter of "borrowed more" ... it's a matter of borrowing more from foreign interests.

It's a little bit like reading "The God Who Failed", only with bad grammar and spelling.

Maybe we should all go spam Free Republic with rabid defences of * and his insane spending and borrowing and calling them all unpatriotic for daring to question the undying wisdom of our Dear Leader.

"Last time I checked the Constitution, Congress holds the purse strings, not the Prez." And who controls Congress? That's right you MOrans, your party controls Congress, and your party is out of control on spending! Never mind that your prez has never veto a spending bill. You own it!

11. Yep - True Fiscal Conservatives would have voted for Kerry
It's pretty much proven that divided government (D/R) Prez - (R/D) Congress is better for smaller government spending.

16. Congress transferred its powers to Majority Political Parties!
Now, a majority political parties enjoys control over our Democracy, because nobody will challenge their powers in the Congress as unconstitutional or the Congressional products they produce as unconstitutional.

Majority political party gets total control over who is on their lopsided committees and, as a direct result, the processes and products of Congress, because the Congress is authorized by the US Constitution to set the rules of its operations and those rules say that the majority political party can do virtually anything they want!

Of course, there is no such authority for Congress to transfer its powers to a majority political party or for private political parties to have powers to exercise control over the product of Congress, according to the US Constitution.

But, that hasn't stopped them yet!

20. It's the national debt that * has gotten up more than Reagan.
How he got there with those kind of deficits is interesting. Must be an awful lot of federal budget "off the record". The national debt went from $3+ billion to $8 billion under *. He is definately the winner.
