We Had One Night To Celebrate And That's Plenty
Now let's work our butts off for '06.

And we have to act like we are the major underdogs we still really are.

We won ONE little, measly off year election.

The first, big test of whether this is truly a sea change is a year from now.

And we should be fighting that fight starting right now.

And we should be relentless and unyielding.

We're still the underdogs. They control every branch of federal government.

But there's a shining light now at the end of the tunnel.

1. True to all that
And the work needs to be done at the precinct level.

Fortunes can do a 180 in a year, as we have seen.

2. We won crumbs to calm the talk of election reform.
See elections are fair and honest. We need more Diebold machines without the added expense of paper ballots. Nothing to see here... Move along.

4. Work AND Celebrate
Mojo and momentum -- we got it, they don't. Work like hell but be winners, the winners win. Walk straight to the light at the end of the tunnel as proud Democrats.

Due to another engagement, I didn't get home in time to do any full-scale celebrating/gloating last night. I'll make up for it tonight, but tomorrow, it's right back to work!

Our attack must be threefold--developing candidates who can give us majorities in the House and Senate; screaming for Congress to take action on Treasongate and and possibly impeachment; and continuing to attack the MSM's laziness and complicity.

Our grassroots efforts have paid off, and a lot of the spinal fortitude you're seeing in the Dems now is due to their knowing that we've "got their backs." And remember that election that Paul Hackett came within three points of winning? That was in a district which has the second largest number of Republicans in the state, and the 56th largest number of Republicans in the entire country (out of a possible 435). In other words, our mandate to win has arrived--it's just a matter of assembling the pieces. LET'S ROLL!

:headbang:
