Dover voters reject 'intelligent design' board

While a federal judge weighs the evidence in Kitzmiller et al v. Dover Area School District, voters in the district chose their sides yesterday in a debate about the teaching of intelligent design in their high school.

The voters went with a new path.

All eight incumbents were defeated by eight challengers one year after a policy change by the Dover school board included a statement about intelligent design in its science classes.
