So what will you do now, Ah-nold?
You took over the Governor's office by taking part in a special election that cost the state millions. Yesterday you spent even more money to embarass yourself. You put up a ballot to allow gerrymandering. Now really, what on earth made you think that people were going to give up one of their essential rights to retired judges who stood to lose nothing and gain a great deal? Oh and that abortion notification thing: you never bothered to think about what could happen to a teen-age girl if she were impregnated by her own father. That's the sort of reality that's escaped you and anyone who's overzealous about ending abortion by way of a thin political verneer.

You didn't get your way after making a huge political bet and losing it. There's so much egg on your face now that someone could feed dozens with it for breakfast. By now everyone knows that you're pretty angry but who else do you have to lose for this but yourself? You could have simply waited until next year to run for governor and easily been elected without much of a fuss. I'll bet you wish that you never ran for office now. I'll also bet now you wish that you never wished back then to trade place with Grey Davis.

So what's next? Getting even with the state? Showing people out here a lesson they deserve for being so ungrateful to you? Well we're pretty keen on your politics of destruction. You put up a measure to punish teachers for standing up to you. You put another one up to do the same against unions for the nurses here in the state. How dare all those "girly men" and women stand up to you, huh?

Oh yeah, Arnie, it was just way too transparent. It was a shallow and cynical ploy on your part and you got busted for it. What are you going to do now? California is no longer that golden state you thought it was when you were a kid in Austria. I doubt you'll be able to stay to even make movies, much less stay to live here. There's New England I suppose and the Kennedys will probably be gracious enough to you if you start treating Maria a lot better than you have. You could probably go back to your homeland although last I heard, that little statue in your likeness isn't standing there anymore.

As I'm writing this, the election returns are now at 99.3% and its safe to say your defeat was overwhelming. Even your own critics are stunned by your failure. You've got another year left so maybe you should just enjoy being a lame duck governor as much as you can. Just don't get any ideas about thrashing the state though, otherwise there's a very strong democratic legislature in Sacramento more than willing to punish you for, among other things, those awful movie quotes you've been known for.
