There seems to be a media blackout on TV and "Sign On San Diego" has no updates as of yet.

Anyone here anything through the grapevine?

1. None yet that I can find
I don't know if anyone has exit poll numbers yet - would love to see some soon.

I noticed the machine at my polling place (Our Lady of Peace in North Park) was a DIEBOLD tabulator. EEEK. I do not trust the outcome of this election already. There were only 3 other people there voting (at 8:00 am). I think most people here vote at night after work.

Voted: for Donna, no on 73, 74, 75, 77, 78, and yes on 79 and 80.

2. We had paper ballots fed into an "Accuvote" machine in La Mesa.
Damn! If I lived 1/4 mile west I could vote for Donna Frye.

5. Links for info on local election here.
Here's a page that looks like it will be updated later when the votes start coming in for everything...

http://www.kfmb.com/misc/election_2005/

Here's also the Datamar daily poll results page for the mayor's race:

http://www.datamar.net/index.asp?page=surveys1105

It looks like what's happened in the last few days it that earlier more men favored Sanders than women, percentage-wise. The latest poll has this flattening out, translating into more men moving to Frye but more women moving to Sanders.

If that poll is true, it sounds like our job today is to try and find our women friends who appear to be waffling now towards Sanders, and try to bring them back.

4. A friend of mine in San Diego says Donna Frye's office needs some HELP
with GOTV stuff. The address is in Kearny (Kearney?) Mesa. If anyone is interested, it's on Kearney Mesa Rd near the 163 freeway.
