1. It would have been a good idea to buy anything Brazilian back in '02
Stocks, bonds, or real estate. One could have made a ton of money.

2. This is the time to invest in industry here
Buy raw goods elsewhere for less, manufacture cheaper things. Boom, economic growth without inflation.

Or am I talking out of my ass? Would like input from people who know more economics than I do.

5. I've heard that Brazil is nearly energy independent,
using sugar/alcohol to power their vehicles. Any country with a viable energy program that isn't petroleum based will have a bright future, imho.
