Got a letter from Bill Frist today.
The salutation was "Dear Fellow Republican." WTF? Have we ever once voted Republican?? He said he was sending it only to those most active in their support of Bush. He sends along a GOP scorecard. Think we'll fill this out. He wants to stop the Democrats' bitter partisanship and outrageous distortions and wants to show widespread support for their ideas. Hmm. Think this could be fun. Lots of questions on homeland security, economy, litigation reform, social security and healthcare and education and energy. And of course a place to send a donation. Got any comments you want to add to the survey?

2. Ask how he got your name
Then contact your local and state Democratic Party offices to let them know this is going on. Someone is selling your name to Bill Frist or they are datamining names trying to up their numbers.

Also, is Bill Frist using tax dollars for this mailing or RNC donations? hmmmmm...

3. Mention something about Schiavo
and his disgusting "diagnosis" from watching a home video of her.

The man is a slimeball.

5. It happened to me seversal years ago.
I got this magificant fund raising letter from Newt Gingrich who praised me as being a valued Republican worker. And then he asked me to empty my wallet and send the contents to him. There was also a questionaire with about 30 questions and a space for my own comments.

So, I ripped Mr Gingrich a new *-hole, telling him that he and his party were a disgrace to all Americans who hold dear the real meaning of freedom and democracy. Even my wife was surprised at the v enom I injected into my response.

As for the cash donation, I addeed a couple of hundred dollars in Monopoly Money and sent it.

I also sent my response to DNC headquarters in DC. I got a response from them saying they loved my letter and questionaire response and that it was being passed around in the office.

I felt extremely good. So, whatever you do, notify the Dems too.

7. "Dear Fellow Republican."
Was this sent on Senate letterhead / franked postage or was it sent from a PAC?

8. I got one too!
I have NEVER voted Repug at the national nor state level!

I added in my own comments on each question and then they were asking me to give them money. I wrote "You have got to be kidding me!"

If I remember right, the first question dealt with what I thought was most important for Congress to address this next year. The last option was "other" so I said:

"Cronyism, corruption in the Repuglican Party, the Iraq War under false documentation"

9. An old Navy Buddy of mine
whom I would kill for knows I am a died in the wool, neocon baiting loudmouth liberal. He sent my name to the State GOP telling them I'd like to receive their literature. I got it for awhile but I would always respond with a good ass whupping. They finally gave up on me. It was fun for awhile. I don't care if they know who I am and how I vote.

12. Does Congress have a collection of people who contact them?
My question pertains to the fact that I constantly email my senators and representatives, both Dem and Repug. Do they have a pool of people they send this stuff to b/c we contact them?

14. I'm not sure but
my congressman, A Dem in South Mississippi knows he has my support locked up so I never hear from him or his office. Although I contact them quite frequently with my cogent and well thought out suggestions on how to make the world a better place (throw bush in jail.) And I've never gotten anything from Lott or Cochran, just the state gop.

13. Why don't you ask him how he can sleep at nite
knowing that he consistently lies to the american people?
Knowing that he takes money away from poor children so he can keep his tax break.
