Corporate Radio - Bring on Christmas!!
They're having a weekend of Christmas only music in upstate NY. I think it's just to get people to shop like crazy before they get their first heating bill. The smell of Capitalism is in the autumn air!

And it is working. One caller already said the music got him in the mood to go to the mall and start Christmas shopping.

BTW, I think this is also why the price of gasoline is dropping. The Oil Industry is letting the rest of the capitalists get a piece of the consumer pie.

1. KQQL in Minneapolis started last week
It is a Clear Channel station. They have done this before but usually start the Sunday before Thanksgiving. They are 4+ weeks early this year. It will continue until the 25th and then nothing (the real 12 days of Christmas).
