To those praising Rush for admitting his addiction
He only came clean because his maid 'outed' him and was caught in an investigative web.

Since Rush had been in rehab on two other occassions he ample opportunity to come clean with his audience before he was 'outed.'
Nobody is saying that. But that is the truth. If Rush had a problem he could have said it when he went out with is so-called 'deafness' Instead, he tried to milk his audience for all the sympathy he could get instead of saying that he had a 'prescription drug addiction' that he was trying to kick. So he really is a LYING HYPOCRITE no matter how his supporters try to paint the picture. He lied to them!

3. I think we should bombard FOX (Hannity, O'Reilly, Geraldo) shows
Make this point and let the freepers cry in their beer.

2. And using others to commit criminal acts.
I think using "mules" to shield your exposure is another reprehensible aspect of this outing. Not only is he guilty of acquiring narcotics illegaly, but bringing others into the scheme is particularly nauseating.

And what about the aspect of moving drugs by FedEx....doesn't that become a federal offense?

I'm sure Rush would agree that, as a responsible Republican, he'll gladly accept the penalities which he has so vigorously proposed and supported for the rest of us. I think 10-15 would be more than fair.

4. What disgust me about Rush's enablers...
because that's what they are, enablers, is the fact that this is EVERYONE else's fault. The doctors, the back pain, the maid, the librul media.

They diitiots still try to excuse the fact that he's an addict by comparing it to 'real' addiction. Rush's pill popping is different because he got it because of an injury instead of just doing it to feel good. His white collar addiction is excusable. 'Its not as if he's doing crack' (read Black people doing drugs STILL should be locked up).

Or they go into the notion that he said that drug users should be locked up years ago. They fail to mention that since HE'S NEVER OFFERED A RETRACTION OR CHANGED HIS STANCE IN THE SLIGHTEST. So his remarks from years ago still stand.

And one other thing. His supporters always mention his neck surgery and how much bain he's in, but NEVER EVER mention what a wonderful golf swing he had, despite being in crippling pain.

5. This reminds me of a scene from the play "Lenny". . .
during one of the stream of consciousness sequences, when Lenny Bruce is discussing his narcolepsy and how he's become dependent on the drugs his doctors prescribed. From out of the shadows, in a scornful tone, the voice of his ex-wife taunts him from her prison cell:

"Oh, yeah? I could clean up that way myself!
