I haven't watched any political show like this-only Countdown since Election horror 2004. SO I normally watch the local Fox news on this channel for the weather and local stuff only. It was on..and it was so compelling..watching Brit Hume spin. (god he is slimey yucky) Anyway.."Bush's poll numbers haven't been helped by all the good economy news." OH yeah...the economy is just wonderful. Bill Kristol:
"Bush gave 37 speeches on social security and it was the worst polling numbers of anything." Wonder why..the more Bushie speaks the more people mistrust him, ya think? NO! It's because he was focusing on the wrong thing.

The best bit: the reason this "he lied about the war stuff is working" is because the White House hasn't hit back. Wonder why huh? Maybe because it is all lies. Maybe because they are under scrutiny by a prosecutor at this very moment??

Utter roll on the floor laugh moment: Bush must defend his..oh get this.. his HONOR (?~!!#433*$(^%!!!) by defending this war some more. YEAH, that's the ticket. Oh and Bill Kristol saying, there's this great info they found after we invaded in Iraq that does show ties to Al Qaida, oh yeah..didn't they try that crap two years ago???

Somewhere along the line these nuts came to believe that mere facts are
irrelevant--it's all in the spin. Just like they decided that most Americans

Where Brit is nasty, poor Fred Barnes is living on another planet. He doesn't have any comprehension of reality. I caught him one night this week on Hume's nightly show and Barnes said: "We know everything Joe Wilson said is a lie. That's been proven."

He sounded exactly like one of those Daily Show reports where the correspondents interview somebody who doesn't get the joke.
