Did anyone go to the peace workshop in Fayetteville this weekend?
I went today, it was both Friday and today. I got to meet Lila Lipscomb who is a gifted speaker. She was with two veterans for peace. They all told their stories of family members in the military. Then I heard about the recruiting tactics and possible way to get the truth out. Finally I attended a workshop on just war theory. All in all a great day.

1. what state? NC?
I am considering applying for a job in the area -- is it liberal or conservative?

2. NC
Fayetteville is quite conservative. If you are looking for liberal enclaves here try Asheville, Durham, Chappel Hill, Charolette, and to a lesser extend Raleigh and Greensboro.

3. thanks,
that is what I thought, although I had hoped the fact that there is a Quaker Center showed some progress.
