Did Novak own the rights to CNN's Capital Gang or something?
When Novak went out the door so did the show. What gives?

1. No, CG was closing down before Novak went insane.
They had a big farewell show and everything.

Novak's departure was simply a fortunate coincidence.

3. Talking of Novak--I heard that he'd be testifying...
at Libby's trial!
That should be interesting!

8. They will have to dry him out first.

They might just take a deposition if he has the shakes too bad.

12. Haaaaaaa! I hadn't thought about that!
The vulcans and Bushco really are a gang of blood thirsty, money grubbing thugs, aren't they?

2. It just got canceled as far as I know.
It was gone well before Novak's drunken "bullshit" exit from CNN.

4. Speaking of CNN, whatever happened to that curmudgeon who redeemed
himself on Wolfie's show, during the Katrina coverage? Geez, I can't remember his name. :spank: Oh wait, Cafferty(sp)? What happened to him?

7. Novak was the originator and producer of Capital Gang and Crossfire.
They were both taken off the air before Novak's exploded on the air and was suspended indefinitely.

14. Novak was a producer.
He didn't take the moderator role because he couldn't be his usual nasty self, so he delegated that.

15. Nasty self indeed!
Hey, IMM, I thought of you this morning. I was at Target and saw "Cheech and Chong: Up in Smoke" and I thought, I wonder how IMM is doing?

16. Well...
After two weeks of no power, or telephone, or cable broadband, I'm recovering.

I'm very glad to hear from you. How's it going with you? I'm PMing you a phone number, call and we can catch up.
