Argentina protests were covered on NBC news,
but I recall, when Bush went to Ireland some time ago--but after the invasion of Iraq, the Irish were protesting right and left and the NBC news didn't mention it. They just featured Bush and Blair in a room with mucho American & UK flags.

Is there a change in the air, or is it my wishful thinking?

2. No no no No change in the air
that's just the typical bias of American network news. If lightskinned Irish people are protesting Bush, the media will ignore them as "statistical" noise that doesn't represent the views of people over there and thus not newsworthy.
But if Argentinians or some other Latin Americans turn out into their streets to protest Bush by the thousands, the US media will show the most sensational footage of it they can get in order to confirm the widely cherished notion that "those Latin Americans hate America"--even though they're protesting Bush.

American Pressitutes--since 1776 telling you the same lies that you already knew.

3. Good point, Kenny,
as Argentinos aren't Anglo Saxons, corporate media doesn't consider them as important.

4. to reinforce the notion that these crazed emotional Latins
need parental supervision from the USA. If we install another dictator, well it's just for their own good.

And the additional implication that the Latin American immigrants here in the USA aren't to be entirely trusted
