And the children shall lead them..... graphic photos of Iraqi
children caught up in what they should never be, be warned.

“I was the Platoon Sergeant for the platoon that was involved in this incident. My platoon fought insurgents for 14 hours straight this day in Buhriz, received sporadic gun and RPG fire from all four directions oh, and at least 2 insurgent snipers were taking “pop” shots at us as well. These kids were shot in a dense palm grove after they were seen crossing a street carrying the RPGs that are in question in the above photos. While clearing the palm groves, my platoon came under intense small arms and RPG fire. The platoon conducted a “test book” movement to contact to close with and destroy the enemy. By the way, that is our JOB as Infantrymen. In addition to information left out, two of the wounded insurgents were treated by our medic and my men carried the wounded out of the dense palm groves (saving their lives) while still receiving enemy fire. The insurgent who is bound with his hands behind him gave vital information that led to the arrest of several key insurgent leaders in the town of Buhriz, leading to a successful election day in the Baquba area where we set up polling sites.”

1. I'd say forward those pics to Shrub
but he'd probably think they were signs of success.

And you know he sleeps like a baby at night, don't you?

2. They look about the same age as the NVA we 'fought' off ...
... on February 23, 1969. About 15 or 16 years old. I'm afraid this isn't unusual in the 'wars' we've fought in the last 40 years. It's just one of the things that wrenches the gut and stuns the mind. Life in a combat zone just isn't something that can be adequately described.
