OK, you DO have a point. However, I am there for the amusement. I was married to a Christian fundie (YES, I have been told I am going to Hell - as if I were worried). Anyway, I know that regardless of anything that happens, she will always like Bush because he is an avowed Christian. These people are crazy because there is no sliver of logic in their political views. Such is life in such a black and white world, I suppose.

I'm always afraid that the faithful will go "Aztec" and start cutting out hearts, or some such bullshit. I'm DEATHLY afraid of snakes too. Round here you'd better wear your snake boots to Sunday School, if you know what's good for you. Separation of church and snake, is an idea that still hasn't caught on here in the mountains. It's not unusual at all to pick up the paper here and see a story about another fundie getting bitten by a rattlesnake, and moving on to his great reward. The kooks think their faith will protect them from the snakes bite, but I guess sometimes the snake gets all caught up in the singing, dancing, shouting, rolling and preaching and so the snake just forgets he's not supposed to bite the idiots.

HEY...I don't need that kind of nutcases around me. People should have gotten a clue, by what happened at Jonestown. These people can be very dangerous to themselves and to anyone else who might be weak minded enough to subscribe to their pagan insanity and their warped self-serving interpretations of "The Gospel".
