Bill Maher: Repubs care more about the person than the principle...

That was so right on. The Repubs are a cult of personality. It's their team and he is their leader. Never mind if he has no principles or has broken international law or has murdered innocents. The only thing important is that he says what they want to hear and that their team wins - no matter how unprincipled the means. For example, they like to talk about how Ronald Reagan brought down the Berlin Wall and single-handedly defeated the scourge of communism. On the other hand, Democrats would prefer to speak of the event as a collaborated effort by Democrats and Republican leaders that gave millions of people more freedom, rather than attempting to give one person credit. But Maher was right on with his observation.
