22. The truth is out there. Either people don't know how to access it,

or they aren't able to access it. I guess there is one other possibility, people are too lazy to do their own research to find out the truth.

I am convinced that most people don't realize that they are being fed propaganda. I have even had to teach my mom and husband to listen and read with discerning eyes and ears. My mom and hubby are life long dems and my mom (almost 80 yrs old) has always been an activist. Until recently she has had the mistaken idea that the news media is still telling the truth like they did in the old days before corporatism.

You are so right - it is time they wake up on who the consumers are in this country.

If you're on the left or right, "the media" do not care what you think. They care first about their stockholders, second (and last) about Ralph and Edna Whitetoast. Everyone else is immaterial to their goal of 20-percent profit.

We purchase products from those say corporate sponsors. We have a voice by the dollars we spend. Look at the bush approval ratings - they are not high. The people who are watching the news who are against bush are in the majority. Our dollars are our voice. Life in a Democracy - Get used to it!
