They are trying to tell us that unemployment is lower than, when clinton was in power. Everytime these numbers come out they trot out Elaine Chu, Chow or whatever her name is, she hasn't got a clue she is just like brownie, she only has that job because of her ugly congressman husband. I can't remember his name four eyes is all I can remember.

1. Of course their "better than Clinton" numbers forget:

1. The unemployed who have given up looking for work - not counted

2. Those whose UI benefits have run out - not counted (evil bonus points - the Rs keep killing the extension of UI benefits because that would keep the still-unemployed COUNTED in the figures. Remove the extended benefits and all of those unemployed cease to be counted!).

3. Type of jobs being created under * - Welcome to Mc D's!

4. Period of unemployment lasting longer - so many workers are in the hole by the time they find that next job...which often pays less than the one the lost.

5. Increased cost of health care even if you have a job

6. Loss of manufacturing base, move to service economy

One could go on and on...
