1. There should not be a surprise, prticularly as the article has Kerry
accusing another Dem. senator to stonewall the investigation and people starting to call this senator.

What do you think happened after that?

on the issue, for the same reasons that Conyers and Boxer didn't want him to be the focus on Jan 6....the issue has to be the MACHINE FRAUD, not the aggrieved victim of the fraud. In actuality WE THE PEOPLE are the aggrieved victims and THAT should be the focus.

7. We need A senator, but it looks like Kerry has been trying to get one of
them to take it seriously and is having no luck.

Maybe the GAO report can change that, but we may have to send the damn report to all their offices to make sure it gets read.

9. And, there's fraud and then there's conspiracy
There is provable fraud, like in my own state of Oregon where registration forms were disgarded. That's quite a different thing that a national orchestrated conspiracy or enough incidents to overturn an election. He may have meant the kinds of fraud to suppress the minority vote that happen in every election, not the DRE vote fixing theory.

14. I'd like to know more about this...
I've probably missed something--forgive my ignorance--but who is Miller?

I imagine that it would be uncomfortable and a no-win if Kerry lost and then cried, "They stole it from me!". At that point, he had no proof. There was a great deal of speculation, but the Reps were such thugs. Remember them stealing evidence out of buildings, at night, in Ohio?

It was a frickin nightmare.

Does anyone else remember...I seem to recall Kerry saying that he and Bush had a mutual agreement to concede quickly after the election was through--to avoid another dragged-out 2000 situation. I remember thinking, "Geez...they have us right where they want us, don't they? Reps understand there will be anomalies (because of their dirty tricks and cheating) but there was pressure from the Reps to keep quiet and concede rapidly.

They had us in a headlock with the debate formats as well. We caved on that, and the Reps benefited and hid Junior's weaknesses.

Why do we always enter agreements with Reps that favor Reps?
