UK Invasion Force Leader-"No Legal Cover To Avoid War Crimes Prosecution"
Admiral Michael Boyce leader of the UK invasion force stated that the British military "does not have the legal cover necessary to avoid prosecution for war crimes".
He added that if he and his officers are put on trial he'll make sure that Blair and Goldsmith are in the dock beside them.
purposely withheld reports that stated there were no legal grounds for this invasion and that there was a high likelihood of scrutiny by the international community for war crimes if the invasion were carried out.
The UK parliament, cabinet and high ranking military officials were demanding that proof of the legality of this invasion be presented to them. Goldsmith went to them with manufactured documents from DC.
Now the cats out of the bag due in part to the persistence of flight lieutenant Malcolm Kendall-Smith who has refused a third tour of duty and is being court martialed for his refusal. He is fighting the orders strictly on legal grounds and has the evidence to back up his claim that the war was illegal.
