She pointed out that the GAO report conclusions were exactly what I was posing everywhere about. Then I realized that means that this is another story where DU got it right very quickly from the beginning.

We need to get this GAO report into the MSM. It is just as important as the rest of our work here. It also allows us to show that smart people putting their heads together can figure out in 2 days what it takes the rest of the country 1 year to figure out.

It's how I came to DU. I was working the Kerry campaign and did some activities from Democrats.com. About a day after the election Democrats.com was referring to reports coming out of DU. I took a look... damn! I was sure it was going to explode on to news. But then lock down. Been a heck of a year.
