MAR DEL PLATA, Argentina - President Bush brushed off questions on Friday about embattled top aide Karl Rove and his own sinking poll numbers, which are showing that Americans doubt the integrity of the president they elected twice.

Bush said there is nothing new about the declining numbers and turned instead to efforts to fight terrorism and other topics.

"The way you earn credibility with the American people is to declare an agenda that everybody can understand, an agenda that relates to their lives and get the job done," Bush said. "And the agenda that I'm working on now is one that is important to the American people."
