3. I was phone banking in California

For Ahhnuld's Not So Special Election, I was phoning San Bernadino Democrats (SB is in Los Angeles area). Somehow, a leader of a local Republican't Group got on my list (he was actually listed as a Green). So after he explains that he's a SchWARTzy fan, and now very Repug, he proceeds to call me a "communist"

Sheesh, that is soooooooo 1950s. Find a better insult, spaceman.

5. They have no right to belittle you. Liberalism won the cold war. All

western nations, indeed, all true democracies are LIBERAL DEMOCRACIES with MIXED MARKET ECONOMIES. Everyone. Even the U.S.A.

So the next time someone tries to belittle you for using that word - point out to them they are patsies. That they have been trained to attack that word because it is so powerful. Liberal = Western values. Pure and simple. LIBERALISM WON - ALL OVER THE WORLD.

It is your word. And you should be proud of it. The next time someone tries to belittle you for using the word liberal - explain to them how they are sheeple. And how that is sad to see in someone who believes themselves to be grown-up.
