I am a fashion god???
:wtf: Is Brownie out of his mind? I couldn't believe what I was reading. He's in charge of an important agency and he's talking about nonsense. That statement needs to be in every ad in 2006, to show how awful these people are.

2. Clearly worried ...
about nothing more than looking good on TV.

That is what he saw with Clintons FEMA. The difference, is that the Clinton FEMA looked good on TV because the people in charge actually did their jobs.

Cheers
Drifter

3. Yeah, I read that crap in this morning's paper.
I guess when Junior said, "Brownie, you're doing a hell of a job," he was referring to his wardrobe.

Well, what the hell else could we expect from our brush-cutter-in-chief.

6. In all fairness to Bush...
He saw that Brownie's sleeves were rolled up. That would lead anyone to conclude that Brownie was working hard, wouldn't it?

Smoking Gun went ahead and put up all the emails. My favorite? Brownie's email on Sept. 2 (you have to imagine the whine here): "Last hurrah (in Gulf Coast) was supposed to have been Labor Day. Am trapped now, please rescue me!" This is the same day that Mayor Nagin sent out his "desperate SOS" about the people of New Orleans who were still trapped in the Superdome & Convention Center. But Brownie isn't thinking of them. He's feeling sorry for himself because this means he can't go back to DC that day. He has the gall to say that HE'S trapped, that HE needs rescued, because he has to actually stay to do his job! :grr:

7. Well, he's certainly got the money to be a fashion god
considering that he's still on FEMA's payroll at $100,000+ a year. Ugh.
