Has Tim Russert been very scarce this week?
Must be spending more time with the family? Lot of that lately.

1. Its amazing how much people need to be with their families when
the scandals are raging. Side note FL Sec of State Glenda Hood resigned yesterday so that " she could spend more time with her family" - she is the famous Palm Beach Butterfly Ballot Queen of 2000.

3. Does he usually do midweek news?

I never see him except on "Meet the Press," He did MTP on Sunday and discussed the Plame case, the Libby indictments, etc., with his guests.

5. MSNBC was breaking in with his "expert" commentary about the CIA leak...
...case regularly throughout last week. Not so this week.

7. His job is to now get Rove off...
Because Rove may start the dominoes falling and Timmy may be one of the dominoes. His interest is to see that the investigation goes no further. We may see him and his cohorts on GE Television (MSNBC and CNBC and NBC) start to minimize the entire CIA leak case.
